Your heart rate determines the intensity of your training, whether you are pushing hard enough or pushing past your body's limit. Here Coach Karen Siah recaps what she has shared in the previous #bukitpuchong Heart Rate Training Clinic. Now that you are familiar with heart rate training zones, maintain Zone 3 and 4 in most of your training. Hit your Zone 5 with interval speedwork training at least once a week! And always, always return your heart rate back to Zone 1 after each training with proper cool down and dynamic stretches.
