Acrylic pouring - Abstract Waves
Continuing with my wire bounding and dragline addiction of late, I decided to put some random curves down on the canvas to separate the pours. The idea was to create something similar to "pouring a spiral" ( • Acrylic Pouring - Pouring a spiral ) but in random curves. It took a couple of attempts to get something I was happy with - in the previous attempt I didn't like the color combination and the wire spacing was a bit large so the draglines weren't as effective. Anyway, this one I like and I hope you do too.
Paints are heavy bodied acrylics with 1 part floetrol and 1 part glue all. Water is added to give the perfect consistency.
Wire is armature wire - bends really easily but is stiff enough to hold its shape.
No silicone in this one.
