During his first two years in college, Roper and his NBA-ready physique displayed his fierce competitiveness, elite feel on the defensive side of the floor and pro-level shot creation on offense. Roper's role offensively grew more limited as other guards in the Notre Dame rotation became more ball-dominant, however the 6'4, 220lb Detroit-Native found every other way possible to impact the game.
