Ok, I know I said I was gonna take a break from Mario Paint stuff for a short while, but I'm bad at keeping my word on that. So, here;s a thing. It's about time I got around to this game's soundtrack, anyway :P

As you can tell, this is the boss battle theme from the smash-hit JRPG Persona 5. I haven't gotten around to playing this game myself, but then, I don't play too many JRPGs. It's only a matter of time before I do play it, though, especially if my brothers have anything to say about it :P I've done plenty of listening to the soundtrack, though, and honestly, it makes me regret not discovering the series properly sooner. It's just sooooo good!

Now, here's the part that's the reason I put an allcaps message at the top of the description. What you see here is the latest build of SMP with the bass clef. However, once everything is squared away and a couple new things are tested, SMP will officially be updated to a major milestone. That's right, what you see here is the basis of Super Mario Paint VERSION 2. There's presently no timetable on when the big update will happen as RehdBlob is a busy guy, but rest assured, it's on the way! Comes with everything you see here, eight new instruments and all, and I believe you'll be able to switch between bass clef and non-bass clef views. Look forward to the official release of SMP v2!

For this song itself, it was deceptively difficult. The instrumentation was fairly simple, but with all the minor changes at various points of the song, it became a lot of busy work, especially during the loop. I think I put the extended range and some of the new instruments to good use, though.
