Shri Rajesh Kishore Goswamiji was born on the 22nd of November 1976, as the eldest son of Venerable Acharya Goswami, Shri Jaidev Kishoreji Maharaj. Rajesh Kishore Goswamiji belongs to the seventeenth generation of Shri Sanatana Goswami's lineage.

​Shri Sanatana Goswamiji was Shrimat Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's principle disciple. On his command, ​Shri Sanatana Goswamiji lit the light of devotion and enlightenment in Vrindavan, including the worship of the famous deity of Madan Mohan at the ancient Madan Mohan Temple. He also located the various lost holy places of Lord Krishna in Vrindavan, compiled the bhakti scriptures, wrote books on Krishna consciousness and propagated the path of devotional life. The Madan Mohan temple, the oldest structure in Vrindavan, was established by Sanatana Goswami and was the first Goswami temple to be built in Vrindavan.
