Well, I finally finished it. After nearly 100 failed test uploads i've decided that I should just upload the video I have...so here is the first half of my Gosei Power Tensouder (ゴセイパワー解放器テンソウダー) review.

The Tensouder is the Henshin Item used by the core five Goseiger. It relies on a system of Gosei Cards (ゴセイカード) to transform, summon, or used attacks. The toy version is used as a prop in the show. What you see is what you get. Five cards are included with the DX Tensouder.

1. Change - Goseired (ゴセイレッド)
2. Summon - Skick Sword (スカイックソード)
3. Explosion - Twistornado (ツイストルネード)
4. Combine - Gosei Great (ゴセイグレート)
5. Summon - Gosei Dragon (ゴセイドラゴン)

I give this toy points for being 100% faithful to the show and for the sound quality. Beyond that...everything is wrong.

1. What is this...1983? Why is only Goseired's card included? The last time I can think of a Sentai Changer being limited from the box is the Dynabrace in 1983. Back then Sentai Changers were released as novelties that were real watches shaped like Henshin Braces. This is 2010, there is no excuse for Bandai not in include all five Change cards. If you want all five of the cards, you must buy the Vinyl figures that are featured in the video.

2. The price is significantly more expensive than previous Henshin toys. So this toy is more expensive AND incomplete. Remember, you have to buy the Tensouder and four additional figures to get all of the change cards.

3. It's unpleasant on every level. Not only is it as ugly as sin, but it's very uncomfortable to hold. It looks awkward whenever someone is holding it in the show. Not to mention...cards in the mouth? No thanks.

4. Cards. No, just no. It sucks that Kamen Rider was ruined by the ever expanding card nonsense (the lazy writer's dream is to have a series where a new card magically solves all problems) but now Sentai?

5. Long term cost. Completionists beware...this toy will only spawn a thousand more cards to collect.

So basically this toy receives points for existing, being accurate, and sound. Thats it. If you are on the fence about this toy, do yourself a favor and pass it up. The Shodophone is by far a better toy. Hell, i'll even take a Go Phone over this.
