Souther Fell Wainwright Walk | Grim Weather, New Routes & A Change of Plan | Lake District

Описание: A somewhat grim day out in the Lake District as we head up Souther Fell, a classic Wainwright, from Comb Beck — using a couple of routes I’ve never walked before.

The plan was to explore a new ascent, visit Souther Fell South Top (Synge), and return via Mungrisdale and the Glenderamackin valley. However, poor weather, shooting activity, an unsettled dog, and reports of a washed-out bogfest forced a change of plan at the summit.
