This presentation takes a deep dive into the features of new Enterprise Java and assesses how easily and quickly applications can be created (and/or reengineered) to meet the various requirements of the Payment Card Industry Standards. Aided with a suitable case study, this talk attempts to exemplify the different aspects of Web Application vis-à-vis features of new Enterprise Java Technology catering to the rigors of the PCI Standards Dr. B. V. Kumar has an M. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He has over 18 years of experience in Information Technology at various levels and in organizations such as Computervision Corporation, Singapore, Parametric Technology Corporation, Seoul, Sun Microsystems (India) and Infosys Technologies Ltd, India. Dr. Kumar has been working in the area of Enterprise Technology for over 10 years, focusing on Enterprise Java Technologies. His responsibilities included customer consultancy, delivering high-end technology solutions, seminars and training programs on J2EE, Web Services and SOA across the Asia Pacific Region for Sun Microsystems. Abhay Bhargav is a Consultant at SISA Information Security Pvt Ltd.; a Bangalore based Information Security Consulting Company. He is a CISA and a Security Assessor for the Payment Card Industry. His work comprises of Information Security Audits and Assessments on the PCI Standards as well as on other standards and Risk Assessment Methodologies like HIPAA, ISO-27001 and OCTAVE.
