Описание: Welcome to Chad'z Beer Reviews! I'm your host, Chad Polenz (Chad'z being a contraction of my first and last names to make pseudo-possessive word). I started this channel back way back in 2008. I also started a blog where I posted detailed text reviews of all my beers.

For years I posted reviews to YouTube and/or my blog on an almost daily basis. From 2013 to 2015 I was a beer columnist for the Times Union newspaper out of Albany, New York. In 2014 I co-authored "The Handbook of Porters and Stouts" (signed copies available, by the way!).

In 2018, I deleted my blog and semi-retired this channel. I still post video beer reviews, but there is no set schedule. I'm still an active user on Untappd, so follow me there to see beer reviews you won't see on YouTube. I post reviews on my Instagram account as well.

Additionally, I hold accreditations from both the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) and the Cicerone Certified Program. I have also won many homebrewing awards for best of style as well as best in show (I quit homebrewing and sold all my equipment years ago).
