Nymbl Ascent is a psychology-grounded, game-based candidate screening platform built for Nymbl's hiring.
HRs receive hundreds of applications for a single position. Across multiple open roles, that number only multiplies — and the screening bottleneck becomes real: resumes start looking the same, gut-feel creeps in, and strong candidates get lost in the pile while weaker ones slip through on polished answers.
Nymbl Ascent aims to solves this: a game-based assessment grounded in Nymbl's seven tenets and structured to surface the right fit, fast. Instead of testing what a candidate knows or letting them rehearse the "right" answers, it measures how they actually think, prioritize, and behave under realistic pressure. Three stages. Roughly 15–20 minutes end-to-end.
Stage 1 & Stage 2 — Reveal + Build (60% of score): Stage 1 is a set of short, click-only games where every choice the candidate makes is mapped to a tenet through deterministic scoring — there are no "correct" answers, only revealing ones. Stage 2 then drops them into branching workplace scenarios with depleting resource bars (Time, Team Energy, Client Trust), so every decision has a visible cost and trade-off. Together these stages expose values and behavioral patterns that a resume or interview simply can't.
Stage 3 — Role Fit (25%): A role-specific challenge auto-generated from the actual job description, so the test of practical skill is tailored to the role rather than generic.
Behavioral signals (15%): Layered on top of all three stages — decision speed, revisions, position bias, cross-stage consistency, and reflection-vs-behavior delta — to flag faking and reward authentic responses.
Scoring: Composite = Tenets × 0.6 + Role Fit × 0.25 + Behavioral × 0.15, with consistency/entropy/bias signals to flag rehearsed answers.
