This is what my mind does in the middle of the night when it thinks its being funny creating jokes. Trouble is only a very specific set of people will understand them.
Jokes explained:
In the song "MY FRIENDS" in the musical Sweeney Todd. Sweeney is singing to his barber shop blades the lyrics "THESE ARE MY FRIENDS SEE HOW THEY GLISTEN" A drag queen host at a drag bar introducing her fellow drag queens could certainly describe them as "GLISTENING". Sweeney Todd in the joke responds with "They will drip precious BOOBIES won't they." Just because drag queens have boobs and boobies rhymes with RUBIES which is the original lyric.
2nd "Joke" In Merrily We Roll Along the musical there is a song called "Not a Day Goes By"
In Star Wars Obi Wan suggest Luke goes to the Dagobah system to learn the force from YODA. They sound similar. Day Goes By and Daygobah.
