Pearl Weed (Hemianthus micranthemoides) is a great all around aquatic plant. I don't find this plant to be too demanding. Pearl Weed is often used as a foreground or carpeting plant. Some also use is a mid ground plant. Very few have ever thought of using pearl weed as a floating plant.
In this video I discuss why I prefer pearl weed for my floating plant of choice in my shrimp tanks.
