Gael Hannan, an author, performer and member of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), brings home the emotional impact of hearing loss during the HLAA 2024 Research Symposium, The Emotional Side of Hearing Loss. Through acting out a series of powerful vignettes from various personas, she captures the full range of thoughts and feelings behind hearing loss in a stirring performance. The Symposium was part of the annual HLAA Convention in Phoenix on June 28, 2024.
