High Above Barstow Yard 2

Описание: Once again our cameras took a journey to a hill above BNSF's busy yard in Barstow, and quiet a lot has changed in the 4 years since we were last there! For starters a new pop-up intermodal yard was created at the west end of the facility adjacent to the locomotive shop area, with trains adding and dropping off cuts of containers and trailers on their trips in and out of the state. In addition, BNSF has plans to construct a large yard in Lenwood for building and breaking up trains for PSR, and most notably the train consists have gotten substantially longer because of PSR practices! Instead of ex BN SD40-2's in the yard, a Santa Fe DASH 9-44CW acts as a switcher and our cameras capture a number of trains working both in and around the yard!
