Описание: This day in the Blue Mountains started beautifully.

The rainforest was alive — birds flying freely, waterfalls flowing, soft rain falling through the trees. I was quietly narrating the moment, soaking in the peace, the beauty, and the magic that makes the Blue Mountains so special.

Then everything changed.

Along the trail, we met a local Aussie walking his dog who warned us how slippery it was and told us to be careful — “so you don’t end up on the news.” We continued on, not realizing we were slowly heading deeper into the terrain.

As we made our way down steep, wet steps, my husband slipped and fell. You don’t see it on screen, but the moment is real — the words appear because safety comes first. Shortly after, my daughter’s boyfriend injured his ankle as well.

At that point, climbing back up was no longer an option.

We found our way to a historic area and made the decision to take the railway back up the mountain. The ride itself was intense — steep, fast, and unlike anything we expected.

We exited shaken but grateful. And yes — the cost to get back up surprised us just as much as the day did.

This video is a reminder that nature is powerful, beautiful, and deserving of respect. We’re incredibly thankful everyone was okay — and still grateful for Australia and this unforgettable experience.
