Hey shrimp keepers,
Hope you all are having a great week! I was in the shrimp room today and thought it was a good idea to make a quick video on rabbit snails. These snails are the perfect tank mate for shrimp. There are plenty of reasons why:
Bioload - They keep the tank from going into re-cycle by providing organic waste to keep the biological filtration alive.
Bacteria - Their poop contains bacteria that is helpful to the digestion of shrimp
Over population - They breed slowly so there is no need to worry about them taking over the tank.
These snails breed great in freshwater shrimp conditions. This makes them a great tank mate for all shrimp tanks.
