Описание: Wagons are a rare affair in the USA market, though we are lucky for Mercedes to have delivered with the gorgeous new 2026 AMG E53 Hybrid Wagon, and it doesn’t disappoint. The classic wagon shape is combined with a powerful, yet not overly loud AMG design. The same is not true about the up to 603HP PHEV powertrain, and stunning tech loaded interior. So, how was it?

Let’s get the negatives out of the way. The wireless charger is fussy to access, the ambient lighting and tech overload CAN be distracting at times, and the 15.4in upgraded front brakes are a tad grabby. The rest? Straight up impressive. The wagon shape alone would earn this E53 a 10/10, though the interior quality is likely top tier out of German manufacturers. The powertrain? Surprisingly refined, shockingly quick, and hey, it even handles well for a AMG enhanced luxury wagon. The EV systems is truly useable around town with 50ish miles of range and DC charging capability too. Is it a M5 Touring or RS6 Avant rival? Not 100% But it’s 80% there, comes in cheaper, and should not be overlooked.
