🥘 Turnip (Shalgam) Sweet & Spicy Sabzi Recipe | Ginger Onion Style
✅ Ingredients
Turnip (Shalgam) – 2 cups (chopped)
Onion – 1 medium (chopped)
Ginger – 1 tbsp (chopped)
Green chilli – 2-3 (chopped)
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Salt – as per taste
Jaggery powder – 1 to 1.5 tbsp
Water – ½ cup
Oil – 2 tbsp
👩🍳 Recipe (Step-by-Step)
Heat oil in a pan.
Add chopped onion + ginger + green chilli and sauté for 2 minutes.
Add turnip pieces and mix well.
Add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt.
Cook on medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
Add ½ cup water, cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until turnip becomes soft.
Now add jaggery powder, mix well.
Cook uncovered for 2-3 minutes until slightly thick and glossy.
Serve hot with roti/paratha 😋
