A new society founded by frontline workers in B.C. is hoping to remove barriers for those struggling with addiction recovery called 'Rescue Tails'.
For many battling addiction their pets are their sole source of comfort and family. Seeking life-saving treatment often means leaving that beloved companion behind, or even refusing treatment to instead care for their pet.
Rescue Tails society bridges that gap, offering to foster pets while those struggling with addiction can get the treatment they need.
