“TR666” es la primera colaboración entre Trippie Redd y Swae Lee , la mitad del dúo Rae Sremmurd . Trippie les hace saber a sus fanáticos que siempre deben esforzarse por lograr sus objetivos, ya que nunca podrán realizarse sin esforzarse. Swae Lee llega a ofrecer una sinopsis de su vida a través de su propia búsqueda de la felicidad. La canción fue vista por primera vez bajo el nombre "Lead The Youth / 3rd Eye Visions" .

Trippie anunció en julio que la canción finalmente vería el lanzamiento oficial en su nuevo álbum Pegasus, con una nueva introducción hablada por su madre, Tonya White. Eligió poner la canción en el álbum ya que es una de las canciones favoritas de su mamá.
