TIMELINE IN MALAYSIAN RALLYING (2009-2010, 2017-2018 and so on?)

In 2009, this car competed in the Malaysian Rally Championship as one of Felda Rally Team's fleet of rally cars (along with the Waja AWD Turbo, Proton Satria, Proton Wira) competing against GSR Penzzoil Racing Team for the Overall Team Championship. Saladin Mazlan was a designated driver for this car for the whole season except in Perlis where he was unable to compete due to horse related injuries, Rozali Abdullah was their last minute replacement driver of this rally. Later in the season Rozali drove the Waja AWD Turbo for the remainder of the 2009 season.

In 2010, Felda Rally Team competed in the Malaysian RallySprint Championship (no relation to WheelSports Management and Perlis Motorsports Club's MRC). There, they again competing against GSR Penzzoil Racing Team for the Overall Team Championship. Saladin was again the designated driver for this car. After the 2010 season, the team was disbanded and the cars were put away somewhere including the Gen 2.

In 2017, Karamjit Singh has bought the car from anonymous seller to make his comeback in MRC as a rally driver who drives the AWD rally car again as Proton R3 end their season in 2015. He was supposed to compete in the first round of MRC in Perlis with the car he purchased but it wasn't ready in time for the competition. On the second round in Johor, he and the car debuted in International Rally of Johor 2017 where he's competing under the banner of MRU Motorsports. The car still has its FRT base colour livery before later changed into silver with VervX black and green stripes as a new colour for Karamjit's sponsor which was debuted in Perlis (the final round of MRC, which was supposed to be held in Melaka but got cancelled).

In 2018, Karamjit again competing with his Gen 2 in the same team he was the previous year competing only two rounds in Perlis and in Terengganu.
