This is the moment a minke whale was spotted breaching the water and feeding close to a fishing boat just six miles to the east of the River Tyne.
Tony Wealleans, a part-time crewman on a chartered fishing boat the Blueye II captured the footage at about half past three on Sunday afternoon as he and his team attempted to get back to shore to watch Newcastle play Liverpool.
