In this message from 1 John, we’re called to reset our orientation toward Jesus by reencountering the living Christ, remembering that He is the source of true life, and reconnecting with the family of God. John reminds us that Jesus is not an idea or a myth, but the One who was seen, heard, and touched—the eternal Word of Life revealed to us. As we experience Him afresh, our faith is renewed, our joy is made complete, and we’re compelled to share what we’ve received. When you encounter Jesus, you can’t keep it in.
