(7 Dec 2019) Some 300 women marched through the streets of Beirut on Saturday against what they said had been an increase in sexual harassment against women in recent months.
The march, which started near the American University of Beirut to the city centre, aimed to raise awareness of sexual harassment and acts of bullying against women.
Protesters also called for the right to self determination and for women's right to pass on their citizenship to their children or foreign husbands.
