Easy Aloo Porota and Naan Recipe

Ingredients:
Aloo Porota
2 large boiled potato
1 cup ap flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Naan
1 tsp active dry yeast
1 tsp sugar
¼ cup lukewarm water
1 ½ cups ap flour
½ tsp salt
¼ plain yogurt
1 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp water approx.
Instructions:
1. Mix boiled potato, ap flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl
2. Tap the dough with a bit of cooking oil and cover with a cloth to rest
3. Take the dough and cut into small balls with 1.5 diameter then roll it out using a rolling pin
4. Heat the porota in a dry pan then drizzle a bit of cooking oil as you cook it and remove from heat once it’s light brown
5. For the naan, in a small bowl mix active dry yeast, sugar and lukewarm water then rest it for 10 minutes
6. After ten minutes, add the yeast mixture to a larger bowl with ap flour, plain yogurt, cooking oil, water, and salt
7. Once the dough is soft, let it rest for 1 hour at room temperature
8. Cut the naan dough into four pieces then roll it out using a rolling pin
9. Sprinkle fresh minced garlic and chopped coriander as desired on top of the rolled-out naan and give it a final roll on top
10. Flip the naan and brush water so the naan can stick to the pan
11. Place the naan on a pan and flip the pan so the naan can face the direct heat source as it cooks
12. Ready to Enjoy!
