Prodeus was one of my favorite games of 2020, a retro fps that channeled the brutal energy of Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem 3d and Brutal Doom. Some of the best boomer shooter gameplay out there.

One of the best features of the game was its powerful level editor, allowing players to create their own custom maps and levels, many of which are excellent. In fact right now Prodeus is holding their third mapping contest in association with the Mapcore community. So I thought now was a great time to hop back into this blood splattered indie game to get some custom made Prodeus gameplay.

Prodeus was developed by Bounding Box Software and published by Humble Games. It is currently available for early access through Steam and GOG. It is slated for release on Mac, Linus, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One.
