During this time, a motorcycle with three persons riding on it was signaled to stop by the police team but they did not stop and started driving the motorcycle at high speed on the service road towards Capsule roundabout. On seeing the police team chasing and the police team coming from the front, the motorcycle of the persons riding the motorcycle became uncontrolled and slipped near a building under construction and the persons riding the motorcycle fired at the police team with illegal weapons with the intention to kill them. In the retaliatory action taken by the police team, two criminals were injured by bullets, who were identified as 1. Mehmidul Haque alias Bhaykar son Azim resident of Kharija Dasgram, Police Station Sahibganj, District Cooch Behar, West Bengal, present address rented house, village Bisrakh, Gautam Budh Nagar, age 28 years and 2. Moxedul Hussain son Abul Miya resident of village Bhalakaputimari, Police Station Dinhata, District Cooch Behar, West Bengal, present address rented house, Chhoti Milk, Police Station Bisrakh, Gautam Budh Nagar, age 22 years. The third criminal Ajidul alias Guddu son Rafikul resident of village Boromudicha, Police Station Sitalkuchi, District Cooch Behar, West Bengal, present address rented house, Chhoti Milk, Police Station Bisrakh, Gautam Budh Nagar, age 19 years has been arrested during combing. 9 stolen mobile phones, a stolen motorcycle Honda Sign registered number DL 3 SDP 4316 (stolen from Delhi), 2 illegal pistols with 2 live and 2 empty cartridges and 1 cutter (for cutting wire/net) have been recovered from the possession of the miscreants. The injured miscreants have been sent to the hospital for treatment. Accused Mehmidul Haque has previously gone to jail in the case of mobile theft from Police Station Bisrakh. Other detailed information regarding the criminal history of the accused is being collected.
