Magic Ben Teaches Magnetic Colors

Описание: In 1958 in the Linking Ring Magazine (page 60) Norman Gilbreath created a trick he called MAGNETIC COLORS. He wrote of a "new principle in magic" that resembles the trick "Unbelievable" but he said it was easier to setup and can be done with anyone's cards and at any time. He claimed there is no suit separation, the two piles are dealt, and the effect is more plausible. He wrote: "The Effect was that a deck of cards is cut several times and riffled shuffled; the deck is divided into two piles and pairs of cards are revealed from each half and when the pairs of cards are turned over every black card is paired with a red card! no two cards of the same color are together! And it can be repeated immediately." Gilbreath continued, "to setup the trick, the cards are arranged so that their colors alternate every other card is black. And the rest is self-working." Max Maven, the famous magician called the Gilbreath principle "a thing of terrifying beauty". Since 1958, dozens of tricks and variations have been developed using this amazing mathematical principle applied to cards. I learned about this principle 15 years ago, and I have come across numerous interesting magic performances based on the principle. (Spoilers) I will be teaching this trick and principle.
