Watch Live | Chocolate Diplomacy Fails As Belgium PM’s Gift For Indian PM Modi Breaks En Route

Описание: Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever revealed a light-hearted diplomatic mishap during his visit to India, saying a sculpture of Delhi’s iconic India Gate made entirely from Belgian chocolate was meant to be gifted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi but did not survive the journey. De Wever said a backup replica remains in Belgium and he plans to deliver it to Modi in one piece. He explained that India Gate was chosen as a symbol of the shared history and future partnership between India and Belgium, including the sacrifice of Indian soldiers who fought in Flanders during World War I.
