After Israel’s ‘blasting’, Pakistan Defence minister Khawaja Asif deletes ‘cancerous state’ post

Описание: In a strong-worded response, Israel rebuked Pakistan over its Defence Minister Khawaja Asif’s controversial remark. Tel Aviv has responded with fury and denounced Islamabad's so called mediation pitch between U.S., Israel and Iran. This comes after Khawaja Asif, in a post on X, called Israel a "Cancerous, evil and a curse for humanity”. Khawaja Asif also accused Israel of committing "genocide" in Lebanon while peace negotiations are underway. Meanwhile, Israel’s Foreign Minister vowed to defend itself against "terrorists" who want Tel Aviv's destruction. "Israel views very gravely these blatant antisemitic blood libels from a government claiming to "mediate peace", he said. Meanwhile, Khawaja Asif deleted his post on ‘X’ calling Israel as ‘Cancerous state’ after facing huge backlash. This adds more embarrassment after Pakistan's fumble in clearly defining the terms of the two-week ceasefire. Israel's Prime Minister's Office rebuked Khawaja Asif, stating that his "call for Israel's annihilation is outrageous" . ‘This is not a statement that can be tolerated, especially not from one that claims to be neutral arbiter for peace’, Israel PMO said. Israeli envoy to US, Yechiel Leiter, lambasted Pak Defence Min over his recent remarks on Israel. Israeli Envoy, Yechiel Leiter also called Islamabad a "problem" instead of being a "mediator". US Rep Josh Gottheimer lashed out at Pakistan and said Khawaja Asif is “spewing vile rhetoric targeting Jews and Israel”. Meanwhile, Israel asserted that there is "no ceasefire in Lebanon" and vowed to continue military operations with "full force" . Pak Defence Minister's remark has put the fragile ceasefire at more risk, even before commencement of negotiations in Islamabad
