We Went Back for Them | Duna Rescue Mission

Описание: The previous Duna mission ended in disaster. The crew survived, but they were left stranded millions of kilometers from home with no way back.

In this video we launch a dedicated rescue mission to recover the crew and bring them safely back to Kerbin. While the mission unfolds, we'll take a look at some of the engineering and physics behind real-world spaceflight, including nuclear thermal rockets, artificial gravity, Coriolis effects, deep-space radiation, orbital rendezvous, and why rescue missions are often far more difficult than the missions that created the problem in the first place.

Will the rescue spacecraft reach the stranded crew?
Will the docking succeed?
And most importantly, will everyone make it home?
