En el reino de Arendelle la reina Elsa organiza un baile al cual están invitados los reyes de las islas del sur, con ellos viene su hijo; el príncipe Hans. En ese baile Hans se siente fuertemente atraído por la princesa Ana y ella se siente igual por el príncipe. Elsa quien también se había interesado por el príncipe en ese baile prefiere no decir nada y hacer como que no le importa. El príncipe es invitado a quedarse varios días en el reino por lo cual convive más con Ana demostrando que se habían enamorado, Elsa se da cuenta de todo mientras sus sentimientos por el príncipe crecen cada día mas hasta que se obsesiona con Hans. Llega el momento de otro baile y es cuando Hans decide proponerle matrimonio a Ana, y ella enseguida acepta. Ana emocionada le hace saber la noticia a Elsa, Elsa queda destrozada con el corazón roto, por lo que en un arranque de celos ella hace algo terrible. Al día siguiente la noticia de que el príncipe Hans había desaparecido corre por todo el reino. Ana, desconsolada se lo hace saber a su hermana Elsa. Lo que Ana no sabe es que Elsa sabe dónde está Hans ya que era tanta su obsesión por el príncipe que termina por secuestrarlo en una de las torres del castillo pues tiene la idea de que si Hans no está con ella entonces no estará con nadie mas.

At this dance Hans is strongly attracted to Princess Ana and she feels the same way to the prince. Elsa, who had also been interested in the prince in that dance, prefers not to say anything and pretend she doesn't care. The prince is invited to stay several days in the kingdom for which he lives more with Ana showing that he has fallen in love, Elsa realizes everything while her feelings for the prince grow every day until she becomes obsessed with Hans. It is time for another dance and that is when Hans decides to propose to Ana, and she immediately accepts. An emotional Ana lets Elsa know the news, Elsa is devastated with a broken heart, so in a fit of jealousy she does something terrible. The next day the news that Prince Hans had disappeared spreads throughout the kingdom. Ana, heartbroken, lets her sister Elsa know. What Ana doesn't know is that Elsa knows where Hans is since her obsession with the prince was so great that she ends up kidnapping him in one of the castle towers because she has the idea that if Hans is not with her then he will not be with anyone else .
