Описание: This episode I'm making my 1st attempt at a spiral galaxy for the background for an upcoming horse painting. The canvas is a black with layers of ultramarine blue and dioxine purple to bring subtle color out as layers of white go down (thus the glare). It's important to note 2 things in regards to this pallet: 1) It had to compliment the color pallet that was to be used for the subject. 2) The colors had to be translucent in order to create a richer layered look rather than a chalky flat effect that opaque paint have a tendency to give when used on black. This is done with regular brushes and NOT air brush which adds to the difficulty of obtaining a smooth believable blended effect.
