Today was MAGICAL at Bennett School in Chicago Public Schools! 🎉
John John and Author/Educator Jonathan Edison, M.Ed. spent the day with Principal Parker, bringing joy, learning, and life-changing SEL tools to the amazing students and staff!

We kicked off the visit by teaching Pathway 1: Reframe Your Thinking — one of the most powerful lessons in the 9 Pathways of Success™. Students learned how to shift their mindset, turn challenges into opportunities, and see themselves as capable, confident learners.

From the moment John John walked into the building, the energy exploded! Kids were smiling, laughing, and fully engaged as they practiced reframing negative thoughts into positive ones. Teachers joined in and created a school-wide wave of encouragement and possibility. 💛

One of the biggest highlights…
📚 Every Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom received a John John book!
Watching the students open their new books, point to the characters, and read along with John John was unforgettable. Representation matters — and seeing an African American early-learning character like John John made the moment even more meaningful.
