Описание: In this webinar, Yuan discusses how they developed a high-throughput robotic colourimetric titration workstation, combining the Opentrons OT-2 with computer vision for in situ reaction monitoring. In this workstation, a webcam was integrated into the OT-2 and image analysis was performed using VGG-augmented UNet segmentation and the CIELab colour model for colour analysis. The workstation was developed for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) quantification via potassium permanganate redox titration and can be used to monitor the photoproduction of H2O2. In addition to performing redox titrations, they demonstrated that the workstation can also be used for acid-base and complexometric titrations, capturing a diverse range of colour changes too. For chemical processes that exhibit diagnostic colour changes, this workstation provides a relatively low-cost automated solution for chemical analysis.
