One of my favorite combinations of the winter has to be seafood with pumpkins or squash.
In this dish we thinly sliced butternut squash and marinated it in chillies and citrus and used it as a wrap for a beautiful king crab that showcases the sweetness of this oceanic morsel.
Pairing it simply with fresh cipollini onion, avocado sorbet and a lime gele, it really makes for an awesome first course to awaken the palette.
