Описание: കേരളത്തിലെ എയ്ഡഡ് സ്കൂളുകളിൽ വർഷങ്ങളായി നിയമന അംഗീകാരം കാത്തുനിൽക്കുന്ന ഇരുപതിനായിരത്തോളം അധ്യാപകർക്ക് ആശ്വാസമേകുന്ന പ്രഖ്യാപനവുമായി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മന്ത്രി വി. ശിവൻകുട്ടി. ഭിന്നശേഷി സംവരണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട തർക്കങ്ങൾ നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലും, മാനുഷിക പരിഗണന മുൻനിർത്തി താൽക്കാലികമായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന അധ്യാപകരെ ശമ്പള സ്കെയിലിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്താൻ സർക്കാർ ഉത്തരവിട്ടു. 'ഭിന്നശേഷി നിയമനത്തിലെ സങ്കീർണ്ണതകൾക്ക് അവസാനമാകുകയാണ്' എന്ന് മന്ത്രി വാർത്താസമ്മേളനത്തിൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. എന്നാൽ സുപ്രീം കോടതിയിൽ ഹർജി നൽകിയ 442 അധ്യാപകരുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ കോടതിയുടെ അന്തിമ വിധി വന്നതിനുശേഷം മാത്രമേ തീരുമാനമെടുക്കൂ.
