This has always been my go-to cheap eats and my favourite in Melbourne. I've dined here countless times and have always been a fan. They serve quality chinese food in huge portions and so much variety.
My go-to order is the large plate. For $16.80, you get 3 mains and a side of rice or noodles. Like I said, the portions are huge and I can easily share this with another person and still be full. So that comes out at $8.40 per person!
This time, I tried their ala carte dishes like the bento and soup. The salted egg prawns in the bento was amazing. Crispy and got that really umami salted egg sauce. The sides it came with were just okay though.
The braised beef brisket noodles was really good. There was so much beef and they were really tender and tasty. The noodles were a little mushy on them though. I also got a chicken and mushroom soup which was so heartwarming and perfect for the cold weather. This will cure you of any sickness tbh.
Pro tip, if getting the plates, eat in. Don't takeaway as the serving size is a bit smaller. Try them out if you haven't yet!
