The Ultimate Spider-Man video game is based on the comic book of the name that ran from 2000-2011. Set during the early 2000's, The comic served as a modern retelling of Peter's origin and life of becoming the wall crawler as well as the wider Marvel universe around him, with either subtle or even drastic changes compared to the Main Marvel Universe (616).

The game serves as a spinoff story that takes place 3 months after the events of the Venom Arc in the comic. The game was well received, and considered to be canon to the comic at first. After a while however, the comic would neglect the story that the game established. The game's story would eventually be loosely adapted back into the comic as "War of the Symbiotes".

For this walkthrough I am playing on the PC at 1080p 60fps. I am also using a mod which fixes the aspect ratio from 4:3 to 16:9.

I also using a comic accurate suit mod for both Spider-Man and Venom. This mod by KomandoUgur features high resolution textures and shaders for both characters, and features like comic accurate colors and details like greenish webbing for Spider-Man, and different eye textures for Venom.

Ultimate Spider-Man was published by Activision, developed by Treyarch, and ported the PC by Beenox in 2005.
