Set ten years after Black Ops II, the campaign follows JSOC Commander David "Section" Mason and his "Sector One" team as they confront the apparent return of terrorist Raul Menendez and a global crisis orchestrated by the tech corporation The Guild, now led by Emma Kagan
Players can experience the campaign solo or in co-op with up to four players, navigating a globetrotting story that blends memory manipulation, psychological challenges, and near-future tech combat. The campaign also introduces a new Endgame mode supporting up to 32 players in the city of Avalon, designed as an extraction-style cooperative scenario where players progress and unlock abilities for future gameplay sessions
Multiplayer
Black Ops 7’s multiplayer continues Treyarch’s signature mix of tactical and fast-paced gameplay with updates to movement and combat systems, including wall-jumping, grapple hooks, and Omni movement improvements. Multiplayer launches with 16 core 6v6 maps and two 20v20 Skirmish maps, featuring both new arenas and remastered fan favorites like Raid. The game introduces Overclock upgrades, Hybrid Combat Specialties, and customizable loadouts, allowing players to adjust their playstyle across lethal/tactical equipment, Score streaks, and Field Upgrades.
