Описание: Get ready for a massive upgrade to Delhi-NCR's commute! 🚆 The final phase of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS (RapidX) "Namo Bharat" train is nearing completion, and the New Ashok Nagar and Anand Vihar stations are set to open very soon.

With these two new stations, the operational corridor will be extended from 42 km to a total of 54 km. This means the journey from New Ashok Nagar to Meerut South will be completed in just 40-45 minutes! ⏰

Key features of the new stations:

New Ashok Nagar: This will be a multi-modal transit hub with direct connectivity to the Delhi Metro's Blue Line via a 90-meter Foot Overbridge (FOB), allowing for seamless transfers. The station will also have a parking capacity for 600 vehicles, with a special 10-minute free parking facility for easy pick-up and drop-off.

Anand Vihar: Anticipated to be the corridor's largest and busiest transit hub, this station will provide direct connectivity to the Blue and Pink Line Metros, Anand Vihar Railway Station, and two ISBTs (Delhi and UP). Modern facilities like lifts, escalators, and dedicated pedestrian bridges are being installed to ensure a smooth travel experience.

In a move to simplify travel, the NCRTC and DMRC have launched the "One India One Ticket" initiative. Now, you can book an integrated QR ticket for both the Delhi Metro and Namo Bharat train using a single mobile app, eliminating the need to wait in queues.📱

According to officials, both stations are expected to open to the public by January 2025, and the entire Delhi-Meerut corridor will be operational by June 2025. Once complete, the full journey from Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi to Modipuram in Meerut will take less than an hour.
