Well, I said I'd give the Liberator Penetrator a shot on Bugs, so here's my run...as Specter predicted though, it ended up being a Stalwart run instead.

I see 2 sort of use cases for the medium AP primaries. First is when you're bringing an AT support weapon, and you need a primary that's comfortable handling light and medium trash - the Adjudicator for example really does well in that role, with the mag size to do well vs lights where stuff like the Scorcher and Dominator might struggle.

The second is when you're bringing the light AP Stalwart, and need your primary to just deal with the medium enemies, and that's what I'm going with here. The Lib Pen admittedly does OK in this kind of role, and its more controllable recoil is nice compared to the Adjudicator's in this respect - the only issue is, its damage is on the weak side for a medium enemy specialist, struggling to kill 2 Hiveguards / Bile Spewers in one mag which the others can manage more comfortably. When you don't even have Bile Spewers to deal with, I'm using it purely for Hiveguards, which seems like a waste of a slot, whereas other medium AP weapons can outpace the Stalwart for Brood Commanders and even Chargers.

Maybe I'd get more joy with the Lib Pen in the first role, but I've messed around enough with it for the time being - if you've made it work for you though, let me know what you like about it!

Build:

Liberator Penetrator for Hiveguards and Bile Spewers, OPS for Titans and Chargers, and the Stalwart for everything else. I brought the Verdict along by mistake - I needed a Grenade Pistol really to deal with Bug Holes, with the Stuns coming in handy for Charger kills. I brought Cluster Bombs for this one, but Eagle Airstrike would offer AT as well as AOE, letting me hold on to the OPS for Titans - between the Gatling Sentry and my Stalwart I should have all trash handled anyway.

Brought a Democracy Protects armour for fashion reasons, though it did end up protecting that 0 for this run.
