The government moved up the starting date for the Second Home Visa from December 24 to December 21. So people who want a long term visa and have deep pockets (as one minister said) should be overjoyed. But for many folks already living here, the main issue is what is going to happen to the Retirement Visa. The good news is that it will continue on as usual. The bad news is that there is no timeline for when or if it will change. But, folks on that visa can rest a little more easily over the holiday period. More dog vaccinations are going on in Jembrana. And, three bag-stealing criminals were quickly apprehended by the police.
