Then the sickness started spreading, and everything familiar disappeared. Within days, the city went silent. Customers stopped showing up, deliveries stopped coming, and every sound outside the fence carried danger. I locked the shutters, stocked what I could, and waited for things to calm down. They never did.

This is how I survived the first thirty days of the zombie outbreak alone inside my gun shop. With a lifetime of training, a building full of weapons, and no one left to trust, I learned that preparation only matters when fear doesn’t take over. The power went out, the water ran dry, and the world outside turned into something unrecognizable. But I stayed alive — surrounded by silence, gun oil, and the constant reminder that every shot fired could bring more of the walking dead to my door.
