Описание: Installing a Slick 6350 magneto onto a Lycoming O-540 on a Piper Cherokee 6, PA32-260.

The crankshaft was set to 25 degrees Before top dead center of compression stroke for ignition spark advance as found on the type certificate data sheet.

This was done using a digital propeller magneto timing tool. But you could also use the marks provided on omg gear etc.
