Jonathan Hinson of Hinson Security, Trimdon gets up close and personal (Stockton-on-Tees, Audit)

I wasted no time in reporting him both to the police and the SIA, as well as registering my experiences of his "bespoke" services on Trustpilot and Google Reviews.

Jonathan Edward Hinson is the managing director of Hinson Security and his company has contracts with local authorities in the North East of England, including with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. Given his behaviour, how is it possible that this individual has been contracted by local authorities to manage their security at various events and venues?

Serious questions are raised by this footage that local governments in the area now seriously need to address, starting with the sheer unprofessionalism of his manner right through to the question of public safety at his hands.

Furthermore, any local authority entity employing this individual may itself be subject to litigation should there be further breaches of the law at his hands, given that this information is now in the public domain.

The incident shown in the footage occurred on 7 May, 2022 on the High Street of Stockton-on-Tees.

Subsequent to the publication of this footage, Hinson Security Services of Trimdon, Co. Durham, issued a statement on their Facebook page to the effect that this video omits important footage the inclusion of which, it is implied, would somehow justify the tyrannical behaviour on display. In my view, this is plainly an attempt at muddying the waters, is categorically untrue and nothing more than a thinly-disguised attempt at corporate damage limitation.

For the record: At no point prior to starting my recording did I have any contact - verbal or otherwise - with any of the security entourage present and so do not consider myself to have provoked the individual concerned. CCTV footage of the area, including worn bodycam footage of "security" present, at the time of my recording would verify this and demonstrate that this claim is unsubstantiated.
