In this quick and easy SketchUp tutorial, I show you how to make walkthrough animations and section cut animations entirely inside of SketchUp, no external editing programs required!
Walkthrough animations are great for presenting your design from a realistic, eye-level perspective, making it easier for clients or viewers to understand the space as if they were moving through it. Section cut animations on the other hand, are perfect for showing how a building is constructed or how different layers come together, giving a clear visual breakdown of the design.
Both of these animations are created using the exact same workflow - setting up scenes, and then seamlessly stitching them together directly within SketchUp.
