The ruins of Saarthal hid much beneath the surface. As I was looking for enchanted items for the mages to research, I found a special amulet that resonated with the wall when I put it on. A simple Mage Light spell was enough to shatter the wall I found it upon, and I continued deeper into the ruins with Tolfdir.
An Altmer man from the Psyjic Order somehow froze time and appeared to warn me about something powerful that I was about to find. I must be very careful with how I go about doing things here. Tolfdir sensed something strange, but he never saw the Mer that spoke to me.
After felling many draugr, we finally came upon the greatly powerful orb that the Psyjic mage warned me about. A particularly strong draugr guarded the orb and I wasn't able to hurt it until Tolfdir disrupted the orb with his magick.
Apparently the draugr's name was Jyrik Gaulderson. He had been cursed long ago for his crimes according to the Writ of Sealing I found on him. There was also a staff of his that will be especially useful against powerful mages.
On the way out I also found a new Shout, Ice Form. Now I must ride back to the College of Winterhold and tell the Archmage that we've found something which requires his immediate attention.
