In Hollywood Insider’s series known as “Real Heroes”, an award that is given in partnership with the philanthropic foundation Humans Of Our World, we focus on Chris Evans. Widely known as “Captain America” and stereotyped in a certain box due to his atypical “Hollywood movie-star” good looks, most glaze over all his other qualities. Evans, refuses to sit back and just rely on his looks and success, he wants to speak up for human rights, even if it costs him losing fans that might not buy his movie tickets due to his stance on important issues, as not speaking up for him is worse than low ticket sales. Moreover not speaking up on important issues, and not taking stopping oppression, due to fear of harm to career, feels “gross” to him.
