ELNET's Former High-Level Military Officers' Delegation - Day 1

Описание: Day 1 of the high-level military officials’ delegation began with a powerful and somber screening of the October 7th atrocity video, followed by a comprehensive security briefing by Brig. Gen. Dan Goldfus, outgoing commander of the 98th division in the Gaza Strip.

The delegates visited southern communities and an IDF base to see the destruction of the horrific October 7th attacks for themselves, including Kibbutz Kfar Aza,Nova music festival site and the Nahal Oz army base, where Hamas killed 54 young soldiers and kidnapped 10 female soldiers into Gaza on October 7th.

The day concluded with an insightful dinner discussion on the current security situation, the day after and the hostage crisis with MK Yuli Edelstein, Chair of the Defense and Foreign Affairs Committee. Given the delegates’ expertise and professional experience in the field, this military delegation is vital for understanding the reality on the ground and working towards greater security and cooperation in the region.
